Hell housemates set new task!

The housemates from Hell have just been given the news: they must peel a mountain of potatoes before they can nominate!
Head of House Darnell was called to the Diary Room and came out holding a laminate. Seeing the excitement on Dale's face he explained, "It's not for none of us. It's only for them," before heading straight towards Hell.

With the housemates listening attentively, he explained the instructions over the fence. Bizarrely, Lisa broke into applause at the news that she would have to peel spuds.

As the peel-a-thon got underway, the Heavenly housemates gathered to lean over the fence, while a delighted Rex offered some helpful encouragement.

Rebecca looked miserable. "Yeah that's it, come and laugh," she sighed. "Rex, we're doing the task, not you," snapped Michael. "This doesn't really involve you." This didn't bother Rex, who continued to smile smugly at them over the fence as they got going on the spuds.

"Bye! Can you not stand there please?" said Rebecca impatiently. "You go and drink your luxury water. We'll sit and peel fucking potatoes to get the right to fucking nominate... My arm hurts already," she concluded forlornly.

Rex backed off a few feet to the Smoking Area, put his feet up and said loudly, "Oh, it's a hard life over here. Mo, are you gonna go for a swim?"

If you want to be nominated Rex, you're going the right way about it...

Heaven and Hell: House Devided

Last Friday, Davina McCall announced that the housemates would be nominating a Head Of House for the first time in BBUK history and that not only that,but the whole house would be devided into 2 sides; Heaven and Hell! This is the first time since Big Brother 3 that the house has been devided into two. (In BB3 the sides were The Rich and The Poor).The housemates had to elect 3 housemates that they would like to campaign as Head Of House, they chose Luke, Dale and Darnell. Darnell recieved the most votes and therefor is this weeks Head Of House! Darnells first task was to nominated 6 other people to join him in the Heaven side of the house, he chose Dale, Kathreya, Maysoon, Mohamed, Rachel and Rex leaving Belinda, Lisa, Luke, Michael, Rebecca, Sara and Stuart in the Hell side! The heaven side have a new diary room, the spa area and the pool (Plus the many other luxuries they recieve from Big Brother) and the housemates in the hell side have to nominate in front of each other, cook for the Heaven housemates,participate in the tasks and they also give the heaven housemates pleasure as the heaven housemates get to look on as they have cold showers outside in the garden!

Ohh, Big Brother- You are mean!

Friday:Special Eviction Show!

Tonight, there won't just be an eviction- there will be 3 entrances!

Yes, thats right- tonight we will see either Rex or Jennifer face the chop and be interviewed and we will see 3 new female housemates enter the house!

Big Brother has released the following on the official site!

We bring you some very exciting new housemate style news...
It's no good.
Big Brother tried and tried and tried.
But Big Brother can't keep it a secret any longer...
Big Brother has confessed that three, that's three, new housemates will be joining the others on Friday night. Yes, three female housemates will be entering shortly after the eviction and are bound to stir things up a bit in the House. As a hint Big Brother can reveal they consist of an executive personal assistant, a theatre director and a model from a well known advert.

That's enough for now. Big Brother needs a lie down.

Big Brother will definatley have a 10th series

BigBrotherIsWatching can reveal that Channel 4 have confirmed to us that they have a contract to make Big Brother until 2010, so it is of great pleasure to reveal this because this confirms that there will definatly be a 10th series. It is unclear if the contract runs out at the start of 2010 or at the end of 2010, but if the contract ends at the end of 2010 then we will definatley have an 11th series.No decision has been made as to wether Celebrity Big Brother will be returning, but a Channel 4 viewer enquiries worker said "this will be focused on and decided after the current series of Big Brother finishes". At some point through the series, we will contact Channel 4 and ask when we should expect more information on CBB.

Last nights live feed was taken off-air last night for the first time since BB5's "Fight Night". It is believed that the fight started after a heavily intoxified Rex smudged pizza on the painting that Jennifer made of Stuart in the Stu Art task earlier in the week. Jen who was tearful was being comforted by Dennis. The tension began to grow as an Dale, who was clearly agitated, tried to make sense of the situation. Kathreya burst into tears whilst Mohamed tried to quell the fight.

At this point, the whole screen resorted to a message saying:

"Apologies for this break in the live coverage from Big Brother, we will be returning to the action as soon as possible"

Stephanie Won't Re-enter The House

ORIGINAL STORY (UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STORY)-The first eviction of Big brother 9 has seen many fans outraged after several reports say that there was a problem with this weeks votes.This resulted in Mario's voting line being open for less time than the other nominees Stephanie,Lisa and Luke.This has also resulted in producers considering giving Stephanie a second chance. An online Petition has begun to tell Channel 4/Big Brother to re-instate Stephanie into the house, the petition is as follows:

"We, the undersigned, request and demand that Channel 4 Television Ltd (Channel 4) conduct an immediate investigation into the operation of the telephone voting lines for the Big Brother eviction held on June 13 2008. We make this request following numerous reports that the telephone lines for contestant Mario Marconi (Shaun Astbury) were unavailable for voting during periods of the Channel 4 eviction telecast, whilst lines for other contestants remained open.

In the event this is proven, and regardless of any projections Channel 4 or their broadcast partners may make in regards of how the vote would have unfolded, we request and demand that Channel 4 reinstate Stephanie McMichael to the house at the earliest feasible opportunity, in the interests of vote integrity and fair competition.

Update- I emailed channel 4 regarding the issue and this is what they said;

"Our operator has confirmed that there were no problems with the platform that the Big Brother vote is run on, on that Friday, and that the live vote was monitored throughout the running of the show."

Looks like Stephanie won't be re-entering the house afterall!
